"Hadrian's wall cycling trip: best b& b in the North!"
We were cycling the Hadrian's wall cycle route and I hand picked the overnight stays, the serial journey with baggage made it an overnight stay and move on, but I'd have happily stayed longer at this b & b. I think some places try hard to please but here the unbeatable care for guests needs made it seem effortless to us (though I'm sure it's really based on very hard work)! The owners couldn't do enough for us!We were cycling the Hadrian's wall cycle route and I hand picked the overnight stays Read less

We were upgraded without asking, as the better room was available and we really needed a room with a bath after cycling - what we got was a whirlpool bath - what a chill out.
Also, breakfast - superb
Dislikes:
Its a little hard to find in the dark, on cycles, but to be honest the owners can help explain and you should pay attention. But I gather one family didn't, and they actually went and found them!
Response from Wydon Farm B&B:
Thank you for your kind review.

Our hosts were incredibly helpful, getting us to and from the railway station and to several locations around the region. Breakfasts were superb and the remodeled barn-room was lovely.
Dislikes:
A bit of a hike to and from Haltwhistle, but this gave us the opportunity to build up an appetite for hearty meals.
