It was the first cold night of the winter and the room was not warm enough when we came back late at night, despite the heating having been on maximum.

"Comfortable and warm with a friendly welcome"
We stayed here for one night on our way home from Scotland. The owner was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting places to eat and where to visit before we departed for home. The room was large, the bed comfortable with good bedlinen. The shower room was simple rather than luxurious but everything worked, the water was hot, large shower, supplies of soap etc., the towels were clean and there was a heated towel rail. Read less
