arrived mid afternoon, parking in the on site car park. Got settled into my room and brewed up a mug of tea, relaxed after a near 200 mile drive down the motorways. Walked into the village, later, and dined in a local pub after which a stroll back in the dark. Luckily, having stayed here on several occasions, I knew to carry a small torch to fill in the gaps between the sparse streetlights. A quiet read before retiring, then up for breakfast and away. Quiet, laidback atmosphere. If stretching your legs after a lengthy journey is on the agenda, the large lawned area to the rear of the property is perfect. Look out for the red kites flying overhead.

Re comments about the noisy road - it is only busy at commuting times, and few heavy vehicles - I didn't find it a problem at all.
Dislikes:
A comfy chair in the bedroom would have been nice.

It would be nice to have the main door locked during the night. Can be done through the use of a key pad with password code and also expected that towels would be changed more frequent.
