Peter was really friendly and helpful. Woodstock is close to Oxford but also in the country so you get to experience the best of the Cotswolds. Read less

Woodstock is a great little town, dominated by Blenheim Palace but with so much more to ofeer. The Tuppenny Tube was a bit of a punt to be honest, booked very late and paid half price for the night without breakfast. Great value! the room is compact, but to be honest we only wanted somewwhere warm and dry and really landed on our feet. Read less

The Oxfordshire Cotswolds Market Town of Woodstock is a pretty place about 10 miles north of Oxford on the A44 to Broadway and Worcester. It boasts many charming streets, inns, and tea shops. Woodstock is most famous for the close proximity to the ancestral home of the Churchill family, Blenheim Palace. Thomas Chaucer (thought to be the brother of Geoffrey Chaucer) and famous for being Speaker of the House of Commons, resided here for some years, whilst in later centuries Woodstock was noted for its glove making.
