"Delightful Country Manor Escape"
A truly fantastic stay in the most wonderful country manor. My wife and I wanted to escape London for a few days and, having spent many a family holiday in Pembrokeshire as a small boy, I wanted to take my wife to that neck of the woods. Struggling to find decent accommodation in Solva we widened our search and are so glad we did as we found this absolute gem. Secluded, homely, elegant and a true delight. Read less

Delicious breakfast, they had especially bought in vegetarian sausages in advance of my stay - very kind. An enourmous vat of fresh coffee and fresh juice set me up for the day - thank you.

Boulston Manor is a classic Georgian Manor house overlooking the Cleddau estuary and is located 3 miles from the County town of Haverfordwest. The road to the Manor provides tantaling glimses of the river as you pass through ancient woodlanduntil the Manor appears in front of you. A warm welcome is assured and the classic Georgian manor drawing room with views of the river is yours to enjoy; soft sofas, horsey pictures and a grand piano set the atmosphere. Many a happy hour can be spent waiting for Mr Darcey to canter up the Front Park.

The house was refurbished in 2007 with the installation of new central heating, rewiring and new decoration. A log biomass boiler is situated in the cellar of the house and provides the hot water required for the large baths. Timber is sourced from the 17+ acres of woodland surrounding the house.

The Gold Cup Suite is the largest of the suites with a balcony for visitors to take in the view. The room is south facing so enjoys the morning sun and spectacular evening views of the the sun setting on the woodland alongside the river.

Boulston Manor is located on a peninsula so there are riverside walks to relax and observe the wildlife including the Canada geese first introduced from Slimbridge in the early 1950's.
