This is Rosebank House, a magnificent former Georgian manse, located in the centre of Scotland, now run as a four star guest house with six en suite bedrooms.

Rosebank is the perfect base for you to fish, play golf, walk, or explore the mountains, wildlife and historic buildings of Perthshire and Scotland. The Cateran Trail starts and ends less than half a mile from the front door of the house. Rosebank is open throughout the year. With high thread count bedding, home-made food and the warmest of welcomes, please come and join us.

Here at Rosebank we make our own granola, seasonal fruit compote and yoghurt. We cure and cold smoke our own salmon. All our jams and jellies are home-made. We bake our own bread, muffins and scones. In your room you will find home-made biscuits and home-made Scottish tablet.

We have been awarded Taste our Best accreditation from the Scottish tourist agency, VisitScotland. The award "recognises and celebrates businesses who provide locally sourced, quality food." Our meat is sourced through our local award winning butcher, who also makes our haggis and black pudding. Our eggs are Scottish and free range.
Early breakfast is available for those that need it.

Rosebank House was built in 1836 by a Dundee shoemaker, David Borrie. Originally he also owned much of the land around Rosebank, but over the years that has been sold off and built upon. But the house retains a large and impressive garden.
David Borrie was a member of the Free Church of Scotland and a few days before his death in 1885 took communion in that church. But when he died, his will revealed he had left £2000 to the Methodist Church to build a new church in Rattray, and Rosebank to be used as the manse. That church still stands by the bridge over the Ericht into Blairgowrie. It is now an excellent fish restaurant, Little's. Rosebank became a bed and breakfast around 1960.
Environmental Statement
There is a recycling basket at the top of the stairs for guests' use and we have installed a wood pellet boiler for all central heating and hot water requirements
