The hosts were lovely. Real locals who knew the area and the people we were there to visit. My young friend felt comfortable enough to spend time downstairs with the hosts and other locals.

It was all perfect...will definitely book again and have already recommended it to my SSC friends

"clean friendly good food"
This was an overnight stay breaking the journey to Cromarty. It was isolated dispite being just off the A9. From the outside it looked old and rundown but my goodness on going into the Inn it was bright clean and well appointed. The owner was very friendly and hospitable we could not have asked for a nicer bedroom and ensuite. Despite the fact it was not busy we had a beautiful home cooked meal. We will go back another time as there is apears to be plenty to do in the area Read less

Response from The Struan Inn:
So glad that you had a nice stay and enjoyed visiting the area. The inn is indeed very old, having been built in 1863, but inside we have five modern en-suite rooms, cosy bar and large restaurant. Many people say it's like a Tardis - looks small from the outside, but it's much bigger inside than you think! Being away from the town also means that it's quiet and peaceful here. Hope to see you again if you are in the area.
