"Charming B&B"
We stayed for two nights in this bed and breakfast. We had looked at the pictures on the website so recognised it straight away when we drove up. We were warmly greeted on arrival (despite us not saying when we were going to be there). We spent most of our days out, exploring Hay-on-Wye and the Brecon beacons. Read less

Situated five miles from the county town of Brecon, Lower Chapel sits in the River Honddu valley, surrounded by open countryside and the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons. Guests can walk nearby footpaths to the village of Pwllgloyw and its welcoming pub.
Epynt Mountain lies to the North of Bridge House and its perimeter trails cater for walkers, horse riders and mountain-bikers. For the experienced walker, there is of course Pen y Fan and the Epynt Way.
Two rooms have views of the river and all guests can enjoy the view over open countryside from the Breakfast Room.
Guests are welcome to sit and relax in the rear garden or by the River Honddu at the front of the property.
