We were actually in Scotland, not too far away from Edinburgh. It was very close to were we wanted to visit without travelling all day to get there.

"Perfect in every way"
We were first time visitors to this area on a short break to visit Edinburgh fringe festival incorporating the Berwick Upon Tweed area, and Redrig Cottage is a perfect location for this. John met us at the door and carried our bags to our lovely room. He then showed us the dining room where lemon drizzle cake was waiting for us which was delicious. John was interesting and informative regarding places to visit which was very helpful to us, AND he cooks a good breakfast - perfect in every way! Read less

A warm friendly welcome awaits you in this east borders B&B. The B&B currently offers two double rooms, both with en-suit shower rooms, walk in wardrobes, TV’s, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers and alarm clocks. Our old fashioned country dining room has a wood burning stove (for those cold winter mornings) and is serviced by a well fitted farmhouse kitchen.

Redrig Cottage sits in a small hamlet of houses 1 mile from the village of Foulden and 5 miles from Berwick town centre. Berwick upon Tweed is a historic market town which has a wide range of local amenities, good shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, theatre and arts centre.

Built in 1863 this red sandstone Listed cottage has recently been extended and upgraded to a very high standard.

The cottage also boasts ample private parking.

For those who would like to bring their horse on holiday too, the property has a modern stable block, grazing paddocks and ample parking for horse transport vehicles and trailers. There is also an exciting, well laid out, a cross country course a twenty minute hack away. Our L shaped stable block with loose boxes for 4 large horses also has a tack room and wash bay.

Please note that checkin is from 4.30pm.
