"This B&B ticked all the right boxes."
We arrived for a 3 night stay on the 13th July 2014 and realised immediately that we had made the right choice. The beds were supremely comfortable and the power shower in the modern bathroom worked as a power shower should. David, our host, made us feel welcome from the moment of arrival to the time of departure. Read less
Likes:
The bedrooms, the separate breakfast/sitting room and the breakfast which included home made jams and bread. The small farm with its sheep etc was interesting to look around
Dislikes:
Roger the cockerel could be trained to wake his family a little later in the morning!

"A fantastic location with an even better host"
We stopped from Sunday till Friday, doing lots of site seeing. David had a lot of local information that helped alot and all of his recomended restaurants where fantastic (he even made the reservations). It was nice of him to show us round his small holding and let us help with feeding the lambs and chickens. The room was lovely and the building has been well renovated. The bed was very comfey and the shower was great. There was pleanty of tea and coffee in the room, and soaps in the bathroom. Read less

David certainly helped in making our getaway even better. His breakfasts where great, local sausages, bacon, egg, black pudding, and his home made bread was lovely, we nearly ate a whole loaf one day!

Brick House Farm is an original Tudor farmhouse on a working smallholding. We are located in the Welsh Marches, in North Herefordshire near the borders with Shropshire and Wales. The house has two luxury bedrooms, each with its own bathroom including full bath and power shower. We have a large reception room for guests, with flagstone floor and a 13th century stone fireplace where we have an open fire in winter. The farm has sheep, chickens and bees allowing us to serve our own lamb, eggs, chicken and honey. There is also a large and productive vegetable patch that produces in-season fruit, veg, jams and chutneys.

Above all Brick House Farm is a warm and relaxed home with a friendly personal welcome. Quality, comfort and attention to every detail are all included.

The house is about nine miles from Ludlow, and within short striking distance of Church Stretton. Slightly further afield are Hay on Wye, the Elan Valley, and even the Welsh Coast.
