Likes:
the B and B is in a very rural part of the country with lovely views. the hot tub in the open air has fantastic views. it needed some care with the cleanliness but it's down to the people who use it.
Dislikes:
BnB was friendly and welcoming although it was neglected and in need of a good clean throughout. the bedding fell short of the standard that is needed to make visitors feel that care has shown.

Likes:
The location and views are superb, and the couple running the hotel are nice and friendly, they keep a good kitchen and the food is very good with quality produce.
Dislikes:
Shabby Chic is not an excuse for shabby ,ensuite shower cubicle being full of mould, window frames are the same, no toileteries or dressing gowns as advertised. Bar shut early, so take your own drink.

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with fantastic views the hotel has won awards for it’s food and service. All rooms are en – suite and individually themed.

There is an on site restaurant, bar, gallery and vintage gift shop. It is a relaxed and quirky hotel and is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Ludlow, Church Stretton, Powis Castle or to walk Stiperstones or Longmynd.

We also specialise in bespoke weddings particularly in vintage style, festival style and country style weddings where parties can benefit from the land, views and creativity of the hotel's design. We have three licensed ceremony areas, one inside, one outside in our courtyard garden and one hillside location which looks out over the spectacular Shropshire countryside.

Our food is a mix of dishes, all with a quirky twist, we like to think we have something on our menu for everyone. Our afternoon tea is also a real treat with it’s sweet treats and is well worth a try.

We really want all of our guests to have a great time and appreciate the time and effort from those who have given us feedback on Trip Advisor, we are proud to have a certificate of excellence.
