The village of South Petherton was once regarded as a market town, but now is known as one of the best villages in England in which to live. It has many of the facilities of a town with some lovely and interesting shops and cafes. The parish church has a recently cast 12 bell peal, considered one of the best in the country.The location is ideal to use as a base for touring the counties of Somerset, Dorset and Devon, being close to the borders.

A303(approx 10 miles)
By road from East: take the A303 and turn right at the signpost marked South Petherton, drive across one mini roundabout and at the next one turn left. Follow the road as it winds through the village until The Coke Methodist Church is ahead, bear to the left into Palmer Street, The Square House is the last house on the right before a sharp right hand bend into Compton Road. Turn right into the driveway and the carpark is immediately on the left. The main entrance to the B&B is on the side.
