We stayed for 2 nights at the delightful B & B owned by Kim and Barry. We were given a very warm welcome with tea and cakes taken out on the patio overlooking the river. A very pleasant way to end your journey. The room was a good size and had been newly refurbished and contained everything that we could have wanted from complimentary tea and coffee, hairdryer, toiletries and of course the TV and alarm clock. The room was lovely with patio doors leading directly onto a beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent with both cereals and full English being offered. And the hosts were very helpful.

Having last visited this area as a young boy at Hazlegrove School 50 years ago, reading a Carol Service lesson at Queen Camel church, this trip was full of nostalgia. The evening was spent with old school friends at the local and to come back to spend the night in an old barn with an excellent home cooked breakfast just completed my trip back from Australia. River Garden is a converted 17th century barn in the heart of the beautiful village of West Camel, where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from Kim & Barry. The house is based at the end of a quiet courtyard and boasts many original features, particularly the substantial oak beams in the guest bedrooms and in the double height Grand Hall, where you will have breakfast.

Our good-sized Guest rooms are on the ground floor, with direct access to the garden and the River Cam which runs through it.

We look forward to welcoming you to our home, which provides an excellent base to explore the local Countryside with its wealth of attractions.
