A luxury Bed and Breakfastin the heart of Burns Country, Greenan Lodge offers guests excellent accommodation and warm hospitality recognised both locally and internationally.
Our family-run guest house is situated in a quiet location 5 minutes south of Ayr town centre, nestling at the foot of the Carrick Hills close to Greenan Castle, and a short walk from Greenan Shore. You get the best of both worlds here, a quiet locale that is ideal for relaxing after a long trip, yet within five minutes drive you can reach notable restaurants, local golf courses, Burns Cottage, Brig O'Doon, coastal walks and town centre shopping.
The famous Culzean Castle Country Park is a 15 minute drive south, why not stop at Electric Brae or the fantastic beach at Croy on the way there! If you fancy a crack at our world-famous championship golf courses, you could not be better located as the lodge is less than twenty minutes from Turnberry, Royal Troon and old Prestwick.
If you don't feel up to this but are still looking for a challenge, then a round at James Braid designed Belleisle, just down the road, would be a fine option. Greenan Lodge is appointed to a high standard with each inviting bedroom having a character of its own, all tastefully designed to reflect the lodges modern image.
All bedrooms have luxurious en suite bathrooms, hostess trays and LCD televisions.
