From a welcoming email sent to me until departure after my stay this was a very friendly visit. The old cottage was charming, with my bedroom having a room out over the street.
Dislikes:
No one's fault, but the street was noisy early in the morning and I had left my window open.

"Loevly stay in friendly, comfortable, historic B&B"
Bev the proprietor couldn't be a more lovely, friendly and helpful person. She helped us with directions to local places, gave us tips about eating out, and appeared to easily accommodate my dietary requirements. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities attractive and good. Anything we needed, Bev strove to provide during our stay.
WE would recommend Old Bakers Cpttage to anyone staying in the area who wants an authentic, homely and well-run B&B experience. Read less

"Birthday treat in a special place"
I bought my sister to The Old Bakers Cottage to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted by the owner and made to feel very welcome. Our room was homely and comfortable. Our intention was to go to the public house opposite for a celebratory meal. Unfortunately they stopped serving food at 5pm. However, the owner of the Old Bakers Cottage phoned them for us and arranged for them to cook us a meal plus pudding! Nothing seemed too much trouble. A lovely stay. Read less

Very comfortable room (and beds) - nothing seemed too much trouble. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.
Dislikes:
The lack of parking was a bit disappointing. In the end we parked in the side road to the left of the property. The owner suggested the road opposite but this had a school and a bus stop!
