"Ideal short break accommodation"
We stayed for two nights whilst visiting family in the area. Our rooms were on the top floor, one overlooking the fields and one to the front of the building. They were well equipped although a little on the warm side. However, the weather was unseasonably mild. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, setting us up for the day. The B&B has been very sympathetically restored from the original grain store and is tastefully decorated and furnished. A good place to stay for a short break. Read less
Likes:
It is a lovely out of the way setting with great rural views. The rooms were large with beautifully fitted out bathrooms, having both bath and separate shower.
Dislikes:
It would be possible to have king size beds in rooms of this size rather than standard doubles.

Whilst retaining the outside character of the original grain store the inside has been converted in stunning style. The second-floor guest bedrooms have ensuites fitted with luxury baths and separate walk-in showers, are fully equipped with Freeview TV, DVD and CD player, hair dryer, hospitality, radio alarm etc.

There is also a comfortable residents lounge on the first floor with a wood burner for cosy winter evenings that also offers panoramic views of the Waveney Valley and river. The garden offers views over the Waveney valley, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, we have two families of Swans and Otters also live in the river .

We are close to the popular coastal resorts of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, whilst the Broads are just a few minutes away, day boat hire can be had in Beccles. The new owners Rod and Lindsay Middleton have over 11 years experience in the Bed And Breakfast Business and pride themselves in offering excellent friendly service. Their last business Ingleneuk Lodge is now closed but the details and reviews can still be found on the internet .

The old grain store would make an ideal base for exploring the Broads or indeed any of the East Coast. The market town of Norwich is only 20 minutes away .
