It's a lovely pub in a lovely old village and not far from main routes.
Dislikes:
The bedrooms are in a block behind the main building. They're quite basic. The shower was temperamental and there's no shaving mirror.

We arrived on a beautiful crisp winter's day, with opportunities for plenty of country walks. The Plume of feathers is a typical local pub with a cosy welcoming atmosphere. The staff were especially warm and friendly.
Unfortunately we were not advised before our visit that we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant area. That was a bit disappointing as the pub is quite remote to other restaurants and required a taxi. Breakfast arrangements needed to be better co-ordinated as well. Read less

Great location. Friendly staff.
Dislikes:
The "old stable" accommodation was quite cramped, if staying as a couple, although clean throughout.
