Quiet location, great views from our garden room, fantastic hosts, spotting a grey detail and a kingfisher by the local stream.
Dislikes:
Trying to drive out along the narrow access road behind a pheasant who seemed not to understand she could go right or left or even fly !!!! :-D. Just joking eventually escaped.
Response from The Riding Farm:

"Such a peaceful, welcoming place"
My husband and I were booked for 3 nights bed and breakfast to explore Beamish Museum and the local area. On arrival we had such a warm welcome from Angus and Louise plus a homemade cake-thank you! We were given one of their fantastic self-catering cottages, rather than stay in the farmhouse, which was a bonus and added to our much-needed rest. Read less
