"Great place, great location"
We had one night booked at the Croft house but after arriving realized that it was so nice we'd like to stay an extra night. Kevin was able to juggle some rooms around so that we could stay in the family room the extra night and it worked out great. Kevin, the proprietor, was very knowledgeable about the area and activities that were going on during our stay. Read less

The location is perfect. About a 5 minute walk and you are in the main part of Stratford. Having a hot tub is unusual in the UK and it was a great way to relax in the late afternoon.

Welcome to The Croft, a late Victorian building, built in 1881 by local builders. Situated south of the river Avon, The Croft offers guests a high standard of food, service and accommodation all year round.

We are situated in one of the premiere locations, just a 5 minute walk to the town centre and the theatres of historic Stratford-upon-Avon. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history and set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, the town is one of the most exciting tourist destinations in the UK, as well as being an important market town in Warwickshire. Many of the houses from the time of Shakespeare remain today, having been well preserved by the Shakespeare organisation. These, the beautiful streets and the tranquil River Avon make Stratford-upon-Avon a must to visit. With easy road, rail and airport access, it is the perfect place for a holiday or short break.

Bedrooms are warm and comfortable; all are decorated and furnished in tasteful, co-ordinating styles. The quiet lounge with open fire is often a refuge for writing letters or reading the morning paper. We offer full English breakfast, continental and vegetarian options in the dining room in the morning.

You are assured of a warm welcome, friendly service and home cooking.
