The staff were very friendly and helpful with good food served at the restaurant. The cost is very reasonable, especially considering the size of room.
Dislikes:
There was no way of turning off the radiators which made the room very hot and I could not make the TV work. Even with assistance, the BBC channels were scrambled.

The Saltwells Inn is well known in the area for it's good well priced food and excellent beer, Set in the heart of the Saltwells Nature Reserve the Saltwells Inn enjoys an idyllic setting with splendid rambling walks, ideal for boaters also with the Dudley No2 canal a 5 minute walk away.

The Saltwells Nature Reserve in the Black Country was created in 1981 and covers the Saltwells Wood. Oak and Beech are home to many species of woodland bird and the Treecreeper, Jay and Great Spotted Woodpecker can often be seen within the wood.

The spectacular cliffs of Doulton Claypit offer a focal point in the reserve.Within the woodland is an area of shrubland and meadow which provides a safe refuge for winter birds like the Water Rail, Snipe and Teal.Sixteen species of dragonfly are found here on the Daphne Pool, making this one of the best sites for these insects in the West Midlands. As well as all the wildlife Saltwells Nature reserve also has a number of walking routes and canal walks that cater for almost everyone from young to old, able and disabled.

At the top of the nature reserve is Netherton Reservoir, otherwise known as Lodge Farm Reservoir, which is a canal feeder reservoir. It was originally a clay pit, before being converted by the Birmingham Canal Navigation Company. The reservoir searves as a home for The Dudley Dolphin BSAC and the Dudley Sailing Club.
