I stayed for one night at this hotel. It is at a perfect location at the top of the town, close to the theater. I was expecting a very average breakfast- BUT I was wrong! It was incredible. There was tea, coffee and juice plus about 5 hot, freshly cooked breakfast and perhaps 2 sweet options.
The rooms were spacious with tea and coffee complimentary, great, strong WIFI everywhere. I had dinner here also- amazing!! Read less

"The pub with so much more"
Third year of staying at this friendly pub - with superb accommodation and perfectly located for the Chichester festival theatre. Comfortable beds, sadly no air-con, but that didn't detract from the feeling of well-being there. Excellent full English breakfast served in their spacious conservatory. All in all a good experience which, health permitting, will be repeated for years to come. By the way, Guys and Dolls - this year's theatre offering, quite superb!! Read less

Likes:
Very convenient location in the centre of town, close to local attractions, restaurants and theatres. Lovely breakfasts, with plenty of choice.
Dislikes:
Very disappointed with the quality of the evening meal. Bed was made each day but no other cleaning done. Cleaning equipment left all round in room nearly all day.

The atmosphere in the George & Dragon bar is welcoming and hearty. There are three open fires to keep everyone toasty in the winter months, while in the summer, large front doors open out onto the street. The George & Dragon has plenty of sofas to kick back on and there is also seating in the heated courtyard garden, which includes a covered smoking area for those who enjoy a cigarette with their drink.

The dining room at the George & Dragon in Chichester is something special. Diners enjoy uncomplicated, full-flavoured food in the light and airy space of the conservatory, which has large double doors that open out onto the decked courtyard for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

The dining room at the George & Dragon has a dynamic, modern menu that includes regularly changing specials and seasonal British ingredients from local sources. As well as lunch and dinner, it also serves one of the best breakfasts in town. Bar meals are also available for a lighter lunch or a more informal bite to eat.

There are many attractions and lots of things to do in the nearby area, including museums, golf, galleries and a castle.
