"An open, welcoming community."
We came to explore the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, The Hepworth Wakefield Gallery and Saltaire. The Mirfield Monastery B&B was well locate and suited to our purpose.

The site and the buildings are very beautiful and the accommodation is unpretentious. We liked the simplicity of the rooms, the plain decoration and furnishings.

We were much moved by the cemetry and the statue of the crucified Christ. The image will remain with us and remind us of the community and its work. Read less
Likes:
We enjoyed being shown through the monastery and the church by one of the brothers. We were enthralled by the honesty and beauty of the church interior.
Dislikes:
The weather was particularly wet, cold and windy for one day which is when we explored the monastery, and so it proved beneficial.
