It's a well rounded experience: Cleanliness, facilities, courtesy products, utility supply, beddings - all of high quality, spotless and reliable. Enough and decent parking space. Excellent breakfast!
Dislikes:
No complains or proposals, all fine.
Response from Vine Cottage B&B:
Dear Ekkehard it was lovely meeting you both and we hope our paths cross again.
Thanks so much for your kind words and praise, it does help other people decide where to stay if they can see personal recommendations. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, we certainly enjoy having someone here for a whole week, as we then get to know the guests a little better and love hearing about all the lovely places you visit for sight- seeing and eating. You had a good holiday it seems.

"A B&B like a 5 star hotel"
This was the first B&B we stayed during our round-trip through Southwest-England. This is an outstanding B&B, located beneath Lacock Abbey in a rural landscape. The little village Rowde (Devizes) is pretty and very quiet so you will sleep well. The B&B is an old building, but renovated with love and full of character. The en-suite double is fully equipped with all you need (including hairdryer) and has a powerful (electric) shower. The breakfast is superb. Especially Ben's mess is recommendable! Read less

Nothing. It was still perfect!
Response from Vine Cottage B&B:
Dear Othmar and Bjoern, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for taking the time to write these lovely comments. We guess you have returned home now, so hope that the rest of your holiday was as equally enjoyable. We hope to see you again in the future, there is a lot more to see in this area, you only touched "the tip of the iceburg" in Lacock.
