"Out in the wilds but great atmosphere"
We arrived late in the dark and it was a little hard to find how to access it despite accurate GPS location.
We turned round, took the little road and found the house round the back. The landlady was expecting us by name which was nice.
The room was compact but perfectly adequate clean and comfortable.
The bathroom and toilet were across the corridor but easily accessible. Read less
Likes:
We were very pleased to open the blind in the morning to find ourselves overlooking the stables with several horses poking their heads out.
The breakfast around a communal table was very pleasant.
Dislikes:
The shower was in the eaves so was a bit low for my plus 6' frame.
We didn't have time to use the snooker table!!

Likes:
Small twin room and small ensuite, but adequate. However downstairs was a large lounge with TV and snooker room, with a mezzanine' library' area, so plenty of space had we needed it.
Dislikes:
The walls are not thick enough to stop you hearing other guests TV's. However, we were lucky and they did not play the TV's after 10pm ish.
