"Some positive and some negative comments; overall, it was ok for 3 star accommodation"
Positive comments: bed was comfortable; shower was good (thermostatic/not electric); breakfast was good. Negative comments: recent room renovation included an en-suite. This was better than a shared bathroom, but shower room was small and, at same time, took out sizeable chunk of average size room. There were no shelves or hooks in rooms. Shower drain was partially blocked (ankle deep in water). Saturday night was live music until midnight, plus noisy chatter from guests leaving after midnight Read less
Likes:
Room was clean and tidy; comfortable bed; good thermostatic shower; adequate wardrobe; very good breakfast; staff were friendly
Dislikes:
Room too small, partly because of en-suite. Shower room also too small. No shelves/hooks in rooms. Insufficient power sockets (extension cable used). Shower drain partly blocked. Late night noise

"Clean and Basic but very small"
I booked a twin room for a friend and myself as we were attending the Ride to the wall event (motorcycle event) riding from Woodhall services the following day. I have attended this event for a number of years. We arrived late afternoon. It appeared there was no one else staying and the pub was quiet. We stopped a single night and had an evening meal. We left early the following morning Read less

The bar person invited me to report if I required anything during the stay. Despite no other customers the barman was very accommodating to us drinking in the bar with no other customer
Dislikes:
The room was very small and the shower / en suite also very small. Difficult for two people to move about. I was a little concerned about extension cables being utilised in such a small room
