Likes:
The staff were the friendliest we have encountered anywhere and the atmosphere in the cosy bar was welcoming by staff and locals. Food consistently excellent. Room very bright and comfortable.
Dislikes:
We found the bathroom rather cramped and did not like the towels hanging so close to the toilet. We found it strange that our bed was not made each day unlike anywhere else we have stayed.

Likes:
Well looked after in the restaurant, although kitchen running short of some menu items.
Dislikes:
The radiator should have been switched on before our arrival as the room was cold. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work properly. I think for the price, customers should expect more comfort.

Real ale plays an important role in any good country Inn and the Jug and Glass is no exception. There are regular ales on draught, along with additional guest ales, but if that is not your tipple of choice, we also offer wide selection of wines, ciders, soft drinks and spirits, including our scotch corner.

The Jug and Glass boasts a separate restaurant and is the perfect place to enjoy a range of classic grills and inspired home-made dishes. The chef has many years experience and brings his skill and passion to the menu, which ensures you will never leave hungry. Offering a full menu 7 days a week.

The Jug and Glass Inn has a large car park and is a suitable venue to host groups in the restaurant or in one of the three bar areas. Free Wi-Fi is available within the public areas.
