Our charming ex-coaching Inn is on the outskirts of Windsor & Ascot, and close to Bracknell & Maidenhead. We are ideally suited for either the business or leisure traveller. We are situated in Windsor Forest about 1 mile from Legoland, 4 miles from Windsor Town Centre and 2 miles from Ascot, we are away from the hustle and bustle of a busy town and aircraft noise is a lot quieter than in Windsor. We have been awarded 4 star silver from Visit Britain and in 2010 we received the silver award.

It is a perfect location as a base for legoland. the rooms are well presented, modern and clean. The Rose and Crown serving good food is a 2 minute walk and legoland less than 10th minutes drive.
Dislikes:
The breakfast supplied was very poor value and instead of being continental with pastries and fresh juice we received slices of bread in tuppaware and tetrapacs of concentrate. Make use of the room f

Hi, I am sorry you did not enjoy your breakfast, I did tell you exactly what was included when you ordered it so you could make your decision. I have everything pre wrapped so guests know that it is fresh and untouched, the only items not wrapped is the bread which is put fresh into the tupperware box. At £5.00 per head, take off the booking commission this leaves £4.25, if you add each of the components it actually costs me more. This is only a service I offer not by any means compulsory.

Our traditional rooms offer classic accommodation with an added touch of class. We have a lovely sunny garden, which you are welcome to enjoy.
All rooms are tastefully furnished and meet all modern needs. We have flatscreen Freeview T.V, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, and iron in all rooms. The room rate is Room Only, but is you wish to have a continental breakfast in the privacy of your room, please tick the box whilst booking. If you prefer to bring something with you, there is a fridge with icebox for your convenience in each room.
We are located very close to Legoland, Ascot and Royal Windsor racecourses. For golfers there is Wentworth or Sunningdale close by and polo is at hand at Smiths Lawn and The Royal Berkshire Polo Club.
