"Excellent breakfasts, great location, friendly service, but the room needed attention to detail"
It was our intention to visit relatives and to reacquaint ourselves with Cardiff, which has certainly changed a great deal since our last visit. We chose B&B because we did not intend to spend much time using any facilities such as those found in major hotels. We made good use of the opportunity to visit Cardiff Bay and the National Assembly - an excellent tour - greatly recommended. We found the Hayes area very lively-helped no doubt by the fact that we visited on Judgement Day! Read less
Likes:
We liked the location of the Beaufort very much the food was excellent, the waitress at breakfast was very friendly and efficient. Access to restaurants, the City and the Bay was easily walkable.
Dislikes:
The room was disappointing for the price paid, much in need for decoration and attention to detail. Bath towels were very small and only one hand towel was provided. The bed was quite uncomfortable.
