Ffynonwen is ideally situated to explore the many delights of the West Wales coast, walking, bird watching, fishing or just relaxing on the beach. It is in the coastal village of Aberporth and a couple of miles from the charming market town of Cardigan. A circular walk passes Ffynonwen down to the two sandy coves of Aberporth where you may spot dolphins and seals. Several local beaches are suitable for dogs. Aberporth itself boasts two sandy beaches & two pubs (1 dog friendly), cafes & shops.
How to Find Us
From the North(approx 5 miles)
From the M4 continue to Carmarthen on the A48. Take the A484 northwards to Cardigan for some 26 miles and join the A487 northbound just outside Cardigan Town. Approximately 6 miles north of Cardigan, ignore the first turning for Aberporth at a roundabout and continue on to the second turning for Aberporth at a crossroads. Turning left, continue along the B4333 down hill for 2 miles. Signposts for Ffynonwen can be seen on the lefthand side of the road. Look out for a narrow road on the left.
From the South(approx 5 miles)
Arriving from the North on A484, after the village of Tany Groes and passing the Texaco Garage on your right, take the right roundabout and continue on to the second turning for Aberporth at hand at the crossroads and follow the B4333 as described above.
