The friendliness of the owners is the main thing that earns this Guest House it's four star rating. They were so approachable and helpful. I loved the swimming pool and the breakfast was delicious.
Dislikes:
Bed is a little smaller than we are used to but we slept well regardless. Evidence of cats worried me (I'm allergic) but place is so clean it wasn't an issue.
Response from Park Hill Gwesty Bryn Parc:
Thank you for your review. We do our best to make our guests' stays as relaxing as possible. We do have Connypuss -our now 15y old ginger- but she's not allowed upstairs and only rarely sneaks in into the breakfast room (she's trained not to do that). On top of that, hoovering is happening daily by definition, the rooms as well as the public spaces. Lovely to hear you enjoyed our little present.

OUR HOME IS YOUR CASTLE is Jaap and Ghislaine's motto. They hope you arrive as a guest and go as a friend. Park Hill/Gwesty Bryn Parc is a non-smoking guest house B&B with an indoor heated swimming pool located off road in a fine Victorian building traditionally built in the 1860s.
The house is set in an acre of lush gardens and overlooking the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, the Llugwy and Conwy Valleys and the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia.
The best views can be enjoyed from the front facing rooms, the conservatory and from the guests' lounge.
The house's eight double/twin rooms are equipped with all modern facilities, recently redecorated and are all en-suite.
With a private parking, an indoor Swimming Pool & Sauna and free WiFi we offer 21st Century standards in a Victorian building.

Incorporated in Park Hill is an indoor heated swimming pool 30’ x 12’ x 4’6” deep, with a Jacuzzi type Spa and a Sauna. The water temperature is around 29 C (84 F) It is open exclusively to our resident guests, who can enjoy it free all day and night.
Especially after walking up or climbing Snowdon or mountain biking the Marin trail this helps to relax your muscles brilliantly.

Your car is safe: Park Hill benefits from a secluded free car park, not to be seen from any public road.
Walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and bikers are welcome and we provide a free shuttle service to the nearest railway station. Mountain bikes can be put behind lock and bar safely in a specially dedicated shed.

Centrally situated in the Snowdonia National Park there is a range of interesting activities virtually on your doorstep. The village Betws-y-Coed itself is just a six minutes gentle walk away across the Conwy Valley. The network of roads (A5 and A470) quickly brings in every direction a variety of mountains, mines and museums, castles and quarries, falls and forests, all within easy reach.
Any of the tracks going up Snowdon is within maximum 35 minutes distance by car
Environmental Statement
We use local produce as much as possible. We encourage guests to travel by public transport: we offer a free shuttle service to Betws-y-Coed railway/bus station. The maintenance of the garden is done without the use of poison. We hope to attract birds and other wildlife by creating specific habitats as e.g. uncut bracken, and by placing bird feeders. For the swimming pool we use the legal minimum amount of chemicals, and we don't use water clarifying tablets. This means that the water is slightly less clear than you might expect. However, because of this we are able to use less chlorine as well. This eventually feels better to your skin and makes the water "softer" to swim in.
