The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they allowed me to leave luggage early and also upgraded me to a ensuite room in the absence of many other guests.

An Caisleán is located half way between Ballycastle town centre and the seafront and is within a short 5 minute walk of restaurants, bars, tennis courts, golf course, children's playparks, shops, ferries to Rathlin Island and Scotland and local walks on the beach, riverside, and forest. Located on Cycle Route 93 from Ballycastle to Ballyshannon, An Caisleán is just 50 metres off the Causeway Coast and Glens car route.

The Giants Causeway is 16 km away, and Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge is just 5 km along the route. Walkers can explore the Moyle Way, the Causeway Coast walk, Rathlin Island and a walk to Torr Head from this base, while rock climbers can test their mettle on the famous climbs up the Fair Head cliff face. Excellent restaurants and convivial bars with live traditional Irish, country and modern music are all within five minutes walk and a new and popular and reputable nightclub for those who want to dance the night away.

An Caisleán has free off-street parking and free Wi-fi access throughout. For those coming by public transport, An Caisleán is just 50 metres from the main Marine Corner Bus Stop.
