"Ann Caislean Aug Stay"
Spent 2 night in Ballycastle for a friends wedding. My partner and I stayed in a hotel the first night and then moved to Ann Caislean for our final night as our friends were staying there. The hotel we stayed in the night before was almost twice the price and yet room quality and staff service were just as good at Ann Caislean. Ann Caislean is in a great location with easy walks to the seafront and also up into the main town. Read less

An Caisleán is located half way between Ballycastle town centre and the seafront and is within a short 5 minute walk of restaurants, bars, tennis courts, golf course, children's playparks, shops, ferries to Rathlin Island and Scotland and local walks on the beach, riverside, and forest. Located on Cycle Route 93 from Ballycastle to Ballyshannon, An Caisleán is just 50 metres off the Causeway Coast and Glens car route.

The Giants Causeway is 16 km away, and Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge is just 5 km along the Causeway Route. Walkers can explore the Moyle Way, the Causeway Coast walk, Rathlin Island and a walk to Torr Head from this base, while rock climbers can test their mettle on the famous climbs up the Fair Head cliff face. Excellent restaurants and convivial bars with live traditional Irish, country and modern music are all within five minutes walk.

For those not coming by private car, An Caisleán is just 50 metres from the main Marine Corner Bus Stop, is on Cycle Route 93, is at the end of the both the Moyle Way and Causeway Way walking trails and is round the corner from the ferry terminal for both Rathlin Island and Scotland (Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre and the island of Islay)

For an evening meal you can enjoy one of the many restaurants and bar meals within 5 minutes walk.
