"Blackwell House is a B&B gem"
The Blackwell House was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable highlights of our trip through Northern Ireland. Owned and operated by Steve and Joyce, set within a beautifully landscaped piece of property, several man-made water features, scenic western views, and a feeling of overall harmony – our arrival and search were well worth the effort.
The main house, gabled with a brick exterior, slate roof and cornerstone trim gives a feeling of comfort and stability; Read less

"Perfect location, setting and environment for a quick break to relax and slow down"
Stayed for 1 night with my girlfriend. We arrived tired in the afternoon greeted by snoozing dog.
We were shown to our room which was immaculate. I'd mentioned in passing while booking that it was my girlfiends birthday and within 5 minutes of our arrival Joyce had wished her a happy birthday and given us a complimentary bottle of persecco.
She also booked us a table at the Pot Belly (which is nice if a little pricey). We didn't have to think of a thing.
Couldn't recommend highly enough. Read less

The environment Joyce and her husband have created here is something you can't just buy.
The thought and detail put into each room is beyond impressive.
The breakfast was as good as I've ever had.

"A truly delightful experience"
Imagine yourself as a weary traveler, driving along small Irish roads, no idea where you are. You come upon a truly lovely home, lit up as though they've been expecting you, and the welcome is beyond warm and gracious. That's what it's like to arrive at Blackwell House -- and that's just the arrival. Every detail has been attended to. Joyce, our host made us an outstanding breakfast and even shared her shortbread recipe (delicious!) I cannot recommend the place highly enough. Read less

Everything. OK, it's is not the easiest place to get to, but that honestly is part of the charm - you really feel like you've gotten away.
Dislikes:
Nothing at all, except that we had to leave.
