"A well run, friendly guest house"
We had two nights at the Silverdale and were given a warm welcome together with a wonderful room. The guest house is very conveniently located for the town centre, is very clean and the rooms serviced each day. The breakfast couldn't be better with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and cooked breakfast. We had a great weekend. Read less

The two best things about our stay were the room and the breakfast. The rooms was well equipped with a wall mounted TV, tea/coffee making facilities and en-suite shower room.
Dislikes:
Only that one night happened to be the first England game in the World Cup and so there was a lot of noise in the early hours from passers by and one noisy guest.
