"A very comfortable stay at a very reasonable rate"
My colleague and I were down from Scotland for a weekend's fly fishing in the lakes and used the Brandelhow as our base for the weekend. We had a large family room - very good beds and linen and nice en suite. The owners were cordial and informative regarding pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area, and we had a very nice night out. Read less
Likes:
The room was a good size (one double, two singles), beds were comfortable and clean and the room was not too hot or stuffy. The breakfasts were good and surprisingly varied - good quality.
Dislikes:
Parking around the corner was fine for us but might be inconvenient for others with disabilities or small kids.
