"Superb accommodation in the perfect location."
Spent one evening here (wish it had been more) in July. We were greeted by Neil who was the perfect host who certainly had great sense of humour. He showed us our room and quickly described its facilities in a brisk and friendly manner. Later he showed us where to keep our wine in the staff fridge letting us return alone to collect it. Breakfast was perfect and it was a shame to have to leave. Hope to return again. Read less

Stayed for one night whilst riding the Hadrians cycleway. The hotel is ideally placed to do this ride and facilities are fantastic from a cyclists point of view. There is a secure lockup/workshop and the room we stayed in (room 7 family) was perfect with amazing views. Neil, the owner couldnt have been any frienlier and the breakfast looked amazing although I opted to skip it in view of the days riding ahead of us. Read less
