Comfortable accommodation, quiet setting. Easy to access local towns/attractions. Pub opposite - friendly staff, good menu.
Dislikes:
Staircase to first floor bedrooms too steep and narrow.
Corner shower cubicle very small and not easy to access. Breakfast room cramped - difficult to get to buffet when all tables occupied.

The room had everything we required. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Dislikes:
It lacked a warm friendly atmosphere that I look forward to when staying in a B&B. The large TV in the dining room isn't conducive to friendly conversation with other guests.

It is the ideal location for walking, hiking, cycling or just a relaxing break. All rooms are maintained to the highest of standards. All rooms have an en suite bathroom and power showers.There are patio areas where you can enjoy drinks and the views across our gardens.
The Peak District’s very special qualities are well known to the people who live in the towns and cities that surround the National Park, but for visitors from further away, whether from Britain or abroad, the magic of the Peak District is just waiting to be discovered.
A short break, or longer holiday, will allow you to explore some of England’s most spectacular scenery, and in the towns, villages and hamlets - amongst the prettiest in the country - you will find a warm and genuine welcome wherever you go. Every taste is catered for and many exciting activities are available.
We are working closely with the Peak Park Authority to significantly reduce our energy consumption and limit our impact on the environment, and are actually looking into alternative energy generation sources. We try to get as much food produce from organic and or locally produced sources. Virtually all waste food produce is composted. We use low energy bulbs to conserve energy and we ask that our guest also do there bit by where possible reusing their towels and turning off their lights or other appliances when they are not needed. As a result of consultation with the Peak Park’s environmental experts we currently have a limited hours Power Shower policy in operation. This means you can have a lovely and luxurious power shower anytime from 6.30am-10.30am and then again from 6.30pm-10.30pm. By doing this we can significantly reduced our energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Thank You!
