"Some small issues need addressing"
We stayed for two nights whilst attending an event nearby. On arrival we were met by a lady and she showed us to our room, I don't think she was the proprietor. The rooms decor was quite dated, the room could have done with a good dusting, there was a lot of dust on the skirting boards etc. I understand it is an old building but felt some areas needed attention. The small en suite was clean and functional. Bedding was clean but there were one or two stains which washing hadn't removed. Read less

The setting is very nice. We had dinner one night and the food was excellent then and also breakfast very nicely cooked. Friendly service.
Dislikes:
Although friendly, the staff didn't seem to know what was going on, I had a question about our booking and it caused them problems. More attention to cleaning needed.

The location just off the expressway is great but you do hear traffic through the night. Having a separate room within our for our teenage daughter was great.
Dislikes:
The mill is clearly a very old historic building but the decor, carpeting & furnishing do need updating felt like it hadn't been touched in a couple of decades, the grout was mouldy in the shower.
