M5(approx 30 miles)
The best route from the M5 is to take the A38 towards Plymouth, turning left on the A384 for Totnes. As you approach Totnes, turn right at the traffic lights on the A381 signposted Dartmouth and Salcombe. Shortly after the small village of Halwell, take a sharp left turn by a garage on to the A3122 signposted Dartmouth.
Dartmouth(approx 1 miles)
On entering Dartmouth, follow the route marked in yellow on the map below. Go straight ahead at the roundabout by the Park & Ride car park; straight ahead again at the mini roundabout 0.4 miles later. A ¼ mile further on take the third right turn labelled "Townstal Road leading to Victoria Road". Descend on this twisting road until it levels out and straightens, when you will see a traditional red telephone box on your left. Turn into Vicarage Hill immediately before the telephone box.
