Just love the atmosphere of the whole place - surprisingly 'big' décor in intimate spaces, and it all really works. Comfortable, cosy, clean and friendly - what more might you want?!

In short 'everything'. We loved the decor, the oh so comfortable four poster bed, the generous hospitality tray, the delicious breakfast, the delightful back garden, the friendliness of our hosts....

Dislikes:

Building, a converted 1890s gentleman’s town house doesn’t exactly scream “hotel” from the outside - it’s a substantial brick structure. Once inside though you’ll find helpful friendly staff, chandeliers lavish draperies, gilt gold framed paintings, antiques, elegant four poster beds. The rooms are decorated in a Victorian style, expensive and luxurious, a well stocked hospitality tray, luxury towels, linen, soaps, “little extras” to help with your stay, somehow the flat screen TV’s, Wi Fi and mobile phones don’t spoil this classic look.
