The house has a beautiful view and was convenient to either walk or drive to any sightseeing spot chosen. The town of Ilfracombe has many restaurants, from moderately expensive to relatively low cost

You can relax and unwind at the end of the day in a peaceful atmosphere, away from it all yet only a short walk to the picturesque harbour, nearby shops and all local amenities.
Laston House Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the picturesque harbour and town with its wealth of activities. There are regular boat trips along the north Devon coast, plus fishing trips and cruises to the idyllic Lundy Island. Guests travelling to the island may leave their car in the Hotel’s private car park, free of charge at the owners risk.
We are close to the South West Coastal Path with its outstanding coastal and country views. And on a clear day, spectacular views of the Welsh coastline can be seen from our hotel.
Ilfracombe has something for everyone. For those who like walking or cycling, why not explore the famous Tarka Trail or take an organised walk on Exmoor? And for golfers, we are just 5 minutes drive from an excellent 18 hole golf course.
The neighbouring village of Combe Martin which marks the boundary of Exmoor National Park, the beautiful Marwood Hill Gardens and the quaint ‘old world’ village of Berrynarbor dating back to 1085 are all close by and well worth a visit.
