"A DELIGHT"
It was a real treat to discover that we were to stay in a beautiful Grade II listed early Victorian property which still has many of its original features.

Theresa (the owner) was most approachable, and her dog (Bella) adorable.

The nature of our stay required many extra considerations, all of which were met by Theresa without hesitation.

This is an excellent value place to stay! Read less

The friends that stayed with me were American, and I was particularly pleased for them that such hospitality was extended - not only by Theresa, but the people of Plymouth in general

"Very average"
Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who although was very efficient was not at all welcoming or friendly. This theme continued. The room was furnished with cheap items. The bed was very noisy so we did not get a decent nights sleep. The breakfast was adequate with the owner being efficient but not friendly. She just seemed to complain about how busy she was and couldn't wait to get rid of people so she could prepare for the next guests. We won't be returning here. Read less

The owner did sell us a parking ticket so we could leave our car for the day which was very reasonable.
Dislikes:
The owner needs to be more friendly and welcoming. There are alot of places to stay around here and this place did not stand out.

Plymouth is uniquely situated in the glorious South West. To the 'front' of the city is Plymouth Sound and the English Channel, to the west the River Tamar and Plym form the natural boundary between Devon and Cornwall. Inland is Dartmoor National Park. The Aquarium, famous for having the deepest tank in Europe, housing species from "tidlers" to fearsome Tiger Sharks. Pleasure boats will take you round the Docks and Warships or fishing if you prefer. The Naval Dockyard is a 10 minute drive from the House. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Children welcome.
