Stayed here this time last year, so had no hesitation in booking again, happy to say that the standard was as good as the first visit.
Can't imagine not booking next year if we repeat the trip.

"First class stay in idyllic location"
I stay out a couple of times a month for work, and have tried various hotels in the area. This wins for me, a short drive from the city centre, and yet in the middle of the countryside. The rooms were rustic (which does not mean old and tatty!, and well appointed, very comfortable. The pub next door serves good food, real fires etc. Breakfast was excellent, as was the service and overall experience. Read less

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, but it still felt classy at the same time. Everything was quick enough, but not rushed, so I could be on my way to work first thing.
Dislikes:
I have since cancelled a hotel I already had booked, in favour of staying again at Ash Farm. Although my stay was for business, I will return at some point with my wife for a weekend break.
