Views over the bay from our room. Very good pub restaurant nearby. A stone's throw from the ferry to take us to the start of the Fairbourne steam miniature railway. Beautiful walk over Dinas Oleu.

"Tranquil place with beautiful views of Barmouth"
I took my daughter for an overnight stay for her 14th Birthday. As it is somewhere I have been visiting since a child I also decided to use the short time to try and capture some good photographs of Barmouth. The window in our room window overlooked the harbour and Barmouth bridge which gave us the perfect panoramic view. Although the weather wasn't the best the view certainly made up for it. Close to all the shops and restaurants you cannot go wrong. Read less

The view, it was perfect
Dislikes:
The room was cold when we arrived which was a bit of a let down after a 4 hour journey. No hot chocolate in drinks selection. Apart from that I would still stay again happy days
Response from Sunray Guest House:

Thanks for that lovely review and glad you enjoyed your stay
Sorry about overlooking turning on the heating, but as you must have realised, the gas central heating has the room warmed up in minutes.
You should have mentioned wanting some hot chocolate as we would have gladly let you have a jar, never been asked to put it in the rooms before, but something to consider!
Hope to see you again soon.
