The owners were very friendly and accomadating. They put my bikes in a safe place which was very important to me as they are worth alot of money. The rooms are very nice and well equipped.

Our room was beautiful and the room and ensuite bathroom were cleaned and the bed turned down everyday. The breakfasts were out of the world - home cooked full English breakfasts! The location for us was great. Very reasonably priced. The room was tastefully decorated with nice bed linen, clean carpets and ample room. Breakfast was superb and our 3 year old son was catered for.

Forest Gate Lodge is situated just a 15 minute drive from Southampton, the main port for cruise liners at Southampton docks.
Also, our local train station which is a five minute walk, has direct access to London. At Forest Gate Lodge, all our rooms are en-suite with digital televisions with DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi. We offer a choice of double, twin or family rooms. A delicious varied choice of breakfast is served in our breakfast room.
We are the ideal place to stay for walking, riding, cycling and to visit the many varied attractions in the New Forest. For the comfort of our guests we have a no smoking policy and we are unable to cater for pets.
