I stayed in a room which was very basic but was enough for me. The room and the bathroom were extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. I was happy to learn when I got to Southampton that it was just a short walk from the central train station. It is also about 5min walk to downtown attractions and 25min walk to the university. Staying here made the city accessible to my on foot. Read less

I really liked how clean the place was from the rooms to the shower facilities.
Dislikes:
The Wi-Fi connection is way to slow to be of any use to anyone; frankly, it shouldn't even be advertised. It would not load any web pages unless you waited 15 minutes (and I'm not exaggerating!).

Although our stay was only for one night they really took an interest in our reasons for being in the area. The rooms and shared areas were immaculate.
Dislikes:
This is truly a 'good value' place to stay in Southampton.
