Cleanliness of all rooms especially bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was excellant everything we wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful (owner called a taxi for us). Good value for money.
Dislikes:
Could not fault it at all. Excellant. Would not change a thing.

Booked quite late on (about 6pm on night of visit). Advised on the website that check-in was up to 11.30 pm but put in my e-mail I would be there by 10.30 pm.
Got there at 10.15 pm but had to ring and ring to get in. Eventually landlord appeared and when I explained who I was he said would need to switch his computer on as he wasn't aware I was due. Said he had it on all day but did not check e-mails in the evening! Also, problem with type of room (see below). Read less

Dislikes:
Had been offered and booked online a double or twin with single occupancy but when shown my room it was a very small single! However, due to the problems on arrival I let it go but maybe I shouldn't.

A warm welcome awaits you at this family run Victorian Guest House. With comfortable surroundings and a friendly service, we endeavour to help you relax and you enjoy your stay.
All our bedrooms have modern ensuite shower rooms and are well euipped with a television; hairdryer; towels; complimentary tea and coffee and toiletries. Wi-fi is also available in the rooms as are ironing facilities. We offer a combination of single rooms; doubles; twins and a family room, including a downstairs twin room.
In the morning you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or just a light meal and refreshment, in our sunny breakfast room.
We are situated about a 10-15 minute walk from the main Central Railway Station and the nearby National Express Coach Station. The main shopping centre and The Mayflower Theatre are also nearby. The three Cruise Terminals in the docks are about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Landguard Lodge. The Red Funnel ferry terminal is also within easy reach.
We are also ideally situated for visiting Southampton General Hospital or The Spiral Hospital and the two city universities.
