Small room and lack of bathmat.
Response from The Fawley:
Thank you for your response. I am sorry that you felt the breakfast needed longer cooking. It's difficult to balance so that the bacon and sausages are not over-cooked, but will take your comments on board. The doorbell is in the process of being repaired at present. Had you mentioned the lack of a bathmat, we would have got you one. Thanks for your comments; we will use them to ensure we improve our services. Debbie

The Fawley is ideally situated on the approach road to the beach in Shanklin, We are within 5 to 10 minutes of the town centre, train station and the Old village with its thatched cottages and tea rooms. Come and visit the Isle of Wight for a truly awe inspiring break, and make the Fawley part of the memory.

The Isle of Wight is known as The Garden Isle and it is noted for its micro climate, stunning scenery and friendly welcome. The Isle of Wight became popular in the Victorian Era, when Queen Victoria made Osborne House her home. Over half the Island is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it has a network of footpaths that stretches over 500 miles so it is easy to get close to nature. Walking, cycling and riding are all attractions of the island. Alternatively, if you are looking for somewhere to be spoilt then indulge yourself in the Isle of Wight's tea rooms, fine restaurants, art galleries and historic houses.

We have a number of communal rooms for guest use on the ground floor, the comfortable elegant Dining Room, the Reception with seating and the comfortable Lounge with Flat screen TV and FreeSat channels, all rooms are available for our guests to use when not enjoying the delights of the Island.

Please note that we do not accept children under 5 years old. Our maximum age for the bunk beds in the family room is 12 years. Our family room CANNOT be booked by groups of 4 adults - it is only suitable for two adults sharing a double bed and 2 children aged up to 12 years.
