"British Hospitality at its Finest"
Such a lovely, peaceful spot well located and easy to find. We only spent one evening here, but wish I could stay a week. The house was built in the late 1700s and has been meticulously updated after a fire. Beautiful wood floors, period shutters, warm atmosphere.
Derrick and Jane were extremely accommodating. Our very large room was simply but meticulously appointed. Shower facilities were pristine.Best English breakfast yet with local sausages-yum!! ++++AAAA ratings Read less

This was a historic property that is well loved and card for. So clean. Phenomenal food. Sausage was made locally and bread was hearty & fresh. You're made to feel most welcome.
Dislikes:
Can't say a bad word against-loved this place. Just a warning, you should expect to tote your own luggage as there is no lift. If you can't carry it, don't book it.
