A family run establishment, situated immediately next door to the well known Ryedale Folk Museum, in the picturesque village of Hutton le Hole in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. This is a pefect spot for exploring the North York Moors, Ryedale, York and the coast.
The Barn Guest House and Tea Rooms have earned an enviable reputation for excellent accommodation and a charming place for something tasty to eat.
Your hosts Brian and Janet Thomson offer you a very warm welcome at all times.
We offer a selection of 7 well presented rooms - single, double, twin and family suites - all of which have en-suite facilities and are equipped with digital flat screen television, heating, hairdryer and complimentary beverage tray.
Breakfast is served in the tearoom, overlooking the beautiful village green, where sheep can often be seen grazing. You can look forward to being offered anything from a full English breakfast with local produce and home made preserves, to a lighter breakfast with cold home cooked ham, cheese and fresh fruit. We are proud to serve Yorkshire tea, or our excellent coffee alongside a selection of speciality teas.
The residents' lounge is spacious, attractive and welcoming, with open fire for cool evenings.
We are open from early March to early November.
Our tearoom has a table licence and is open from 10am to 4.30pm. We offer a range of teas and coffees, homemade cakes, scones, puddings, bread and snacks (soups, sandwiches, pates and more) and also more substantial meals, all delicious and prepared in our own kitchen, using the freshest local produce where possible.
The tearoom has a log fire, for added warmth and comfort.
