Burton Villa is a victorian town house providing 3 star quality in ALL en-suite rooms, 8 mins walk from city centre. Breakfast and free parking for 1 car per room are included . Whilst we are not the Ritz you can expect a comfortable bed, a quality breakfast and good service.. We are close to York hospital , Nestle/Rowntrees and York St John University for those on business. Food, short walk into town. Tv/dvd player in room with large choice of dvd's to borrow, if required. Friendly, attentive hosts. Had the use of a free parking permit, much needed in York. Free wifi.

We were made to feel very welcome immediately - there was a pot of tea and biscuits in the diningroon available within minutes of us arriving and maps and local information readily available.
Dislikes:
TWe had absolutely no complaints what-so-ever.

Our staff always provide maps and and give advice on good / bad local restaurants and attractions to try and ensure you enjoy your stay with us. We used to be classified as 3 star quality establishment by "Visit Britain" and try hard to get the important things right. . Free street parking for 1 car per room is included (also on departure day) with limited offstreet parking available for small /medium vehicles .With your own front door key you are free to come and go as you please. All we ask is that you are quiet late at night and do not smoke in the building. The house is over 130 years old with lots of original features/charm including original sash windows and fireplaces. check in between noon amd 7pm. ring if you need to make special arrangements. we like to discount longer stays so email / ring to get reductions.
